Supporting Family Caregivers After Critical Illness

Join us on Friday, September 24, at 11 AM for the next meeting of our Scholarship Series.

Dr. Leslie Scheunemann will discuss:

"Supporting Family Caregivers After Critical Illness: Long-Term Vision, Short-Term Plans"

Register here!

Critical illness causes trauma and caregiver strain for families of survivors.

Dr. Scheunemann will review the state of the science, major gaps with a long-term vision, and a plan for where to start here in Pittsburgh focused on ensuring families have access to essential knowledge and skill training (e.g., training in safe mobilization, care coordination) to support their loved ones' newly acquired physical, cognitive, and psychological impairments.

Please come willing to share your ideas, as this work is in formative stages!
