During this hour-long webinar, you’ll hear from a family caregiver and their adult son with a disability. The discussion will cover topics like privacy, parents’ need for autonomy, having paid caregivers in the home, and more.
Panelists include:
Tina Calabro and Mark Steidl are strong disability advocates in Pittsburgh and beyond.

Tina is a writer and speaker specializing in disability issues, awareness, and support, and has led numerous community-facing projects.
Mark is a recent CCAC graduate, serves on the youth caucus of the National Council on Independent Living, and advocates for disability and LGBT rights.
And more to come!

At the end of the discussion, there will be time for Q&A. We encourage you to e-mail any questions ahead of time to caregiving@pitt.edu, but you will also be able to enter them into the chat during the webinar.
This webinar will be hosted on Zoom. You do not need an account to participate, but will need to download the app if you are using a mobile device or tablet. All participants will be asked to enter some basic information.
Participation is free, but registration is required.
